Julissa Muschlitz was recently promoted to Consultant at Accenture (pretty big milestones from Analyst)! Julissa will be embarking on a 12 month journey with a program called Remote Year on January 1st, where she will be taking my Accenture work remotely to a new city each month around the world. First stop is Mexico City and then to various parts of central/South America, Europe, and Asia!
Carly David is living and working in Philadelphia for ICON Clinical Research and is highly involved with the Philadelphia Chapter of the Alumni Association. This fall, Carly travelled with fellow ’13 alumni, Caitlyn Dawson, Alyssa Usoskin, and Arielle Blumenthal to Chicago to celebrate Krissy Schultz’s engagement (picture below)!
For Thanksgiving this year, Diana Giulietti and Lara Lash took a trip to Asheville, NC where they got to spend an entire day at the Biltmore. In the image below, the two of them are standing in front of the Christmas tree at the Biltmore Inn. Diana recently celebrated her 3 year work anniversary with UTC Aerospace Systems and currently resides in Hartford, CT. She is crafting herself to be a laser welding/laser additive manufacturing subject matter expert. Lara passed her qualifying exam in August and thus has been promoted to a full-time Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tennessee Space Institute studying transitional shock wave-boundary layer interactions. She will present more of her research at the AIAA SciTech technical conference in January. 
Taylor Dougherty received her J.D., magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School this past May. While in law school, Taylor served as an Executive Articles & Research Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review, and her student note, “Outsmarting Death by Putting Capital Punishment on Life Support: A Need for Uniform Evaluation in the Wake of Florida v. Hall” was published in Volume 81 of the Law Review‘s this past August. Interestingly enough, the issue of evaluating the potential intellectual disabilities of capital defendants (the topic of her note) is currently before the Supreme Court in Moore v. Texas. Taylor also competed for the Brooklyn Law School Moot Court Honor Society, and was named the Best Overall Advocate at the 2015 International Rounds of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, held at Oxford University. At graduation, Taylor was named to the Order of the Barristers, a legal Honor Society promoting excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing skills. Taylor also coordinated a Pro Bono Project which paired law students as constitutional debate coaches for local high school students, and co-chaired the Brooklyn Law Students for the Public Interest (BLSPI) Charity Auction, raising over $50,000 to sponsor law students completing unpaid summer internships at public service organizations. After a seemingly unending summer of studying and sitting for the New York Bar Exam, Taylor began work as an associate in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in its Complex Commercial Litigation group this September. The summer ended up being worth it as Taylor learned in late October that she passed the Bar Exam.
On September 24th, Amanda (Scherb) Grey married her college sweetheart, Adam Grey ’14 in a beautiful ceremony officiated by Tom Johnson ’12. The happy couple was able to celebrate with lots of loved ones, particularly a lovely lot of Leopards!
